Wind symphony is a great ensemble, and Dr. McRoy is a great conductor and professor to learn from! He definitely wants to see the effort put into practicing, so make sure you take the time to do this if you join any of his ensembles. The repertoire that is played is super fun. I highly recommend joining band if you want to have a lot of fun!

Dr. McRoy is an awesome professor, and playing in the symphonic band is really fun! He does have high expectations of his students, and he really wants to see the students put in the effort and practice time. He does acknowledge when he sees improvement, and he appreciates when the students give their best shot. Definitely join Wind Symphony!

Dr. McRoy is very passionate about the band. He puts in a lot of effort and won't settle for less. He expects the same from the students in the band. The music he chooses really brings out the best of all the players in the ensemble, and the concerts sound great!
