James Morgan is the man! I was terrified to take blaw and put it off until my last semester but he made the class less stressful. I definitely studied hard but he grades on a curve which helped a lotttt. He is so intelligent and hilarious. Great professor

Comment:

Class has 3 tests, 3 group case analysis projects, and 5 quizzes. I would read the assigned pages for the quizzes, but study my notes and look cases up online for the tests. The book would sometimes confuse me. His tests are difficult, but they are curved. Show up, it helps a lot. Ask help on group case project, sometimes the cases were hard.

James is a cool guy, very funny with lecture and it is worth showing up to class even though attendance isn't mandatory. I didn't buy the book and still passed with a B.

James Morgan is an amazing professor. He is super funny and clearly very intelligent, he can come off as intimidating but he is truly a nice guy! I am a legal studies major and i wish more legal studies professors were as lively and fun as professor morgan. do the reading and you will pass! study the reading and you can get an A

Morgan was super great at explaining the content and provided a lot of real world examples. Tests are curved! Just be sure to read the cases he specifies and it's better to know the concepts covered than just the facts of the case. You have to do 3 presentations throughout the semester but they're real short and easy and help you prepare for tests.

At first it seemed like it was going to be extremely challenging and that Jim wasn't much fun but I was wrong. It didn't take long before he had the class laughing and engaged in the interesting topics of the course. If you show up and semi-apply yourself you could easily pass the class. Would love to take a class from him again.

Good sense of humor. Funny teacher. He wrote the book which definitely makes the course more difficult. Tough material, he makes the course harder than its supposed to be. The class wasn't supposed to be time consuming but it certainly was. Cool guy but very hard grader and harder class than the rest of the blaw 302 teachers.

Prof. Morgan is a funny person. But this is one of the hardest classes for the entrepreneurship major. You will learn a lot from him, but his midterms are very hard. It's better to understand the material by going to class AND read the book. Good luck with it.

AMAZING teacher. Actually makes Law an interesting topic to study. Really knows his stuff, he is very smart! Explains everything so clear. Exams are tough but just keep up on the reading and go to class and you will do fine. Attendance is not mandatory, but a majority of text questions come from lecture. Take him!!
