I am a musician. I took his composition skills class, the biggest mistake ever. People who are calling him arrogant are wrong, he has surpassed arrogant. He has transcended arrogance straight into repugnant. Example? he made us listen to sounds in japan for 45 minutes, not music, not Beethoven, sounds in japan! Why? because he made it! stay away!

I had him for his intro to electroacoustic composition class, and I liked him a lot, but not enough to keep going with the course series. The subject matter is a bit ridiculous, and even he has trouble justifying it as "music".
