Sadly he's retiring next year, but he is the coolest teacher. All the powerpoints are clear and make sense. On tests, everything that you copied from the powerpoint is on it. He's not one of those teachers that give you questions on tests that you've never talked about in class. He does remind me of Benjamin Franklin LOL. So cool.

Pickering is a gem! Godly man, worldly background, perhaps a bit too easy but has been in the real world and lived to tell the tales. I spent 15 in broadcasting, and now teach. I model myself after J. Pickering - and aspire to touch as many people as he! Class of 89 says thank you Mr. Pick!

Fantastic teacher! I don't know from experience, but I have heard he is much easier/better than Sova for 110, so def. take Pickering if you have the choice! Lots of movie and music clips to keep us interested. Very, very friendly and kind. I would def. take him again!h
