this class is pretty hard, there is a ton of material covered and the class moves very fast, if you miss a class you can fall behind. the lab is useful for rehashing the material though. The lectures are pretty boring and the powerpoints go very fast. labs suck too.

this class is frickin hard. pretty dull guy, cold on grading especially if u miss classes. Lectures are extremely boring, lab tests are really tough. unless ur really smart or always do good in school I would expect and be happy with a C.

Would have been screwed if it wasn't for my TA. He goes over things really quickly and jumps around a lot. His use of power point is enough to set you off if you get motion sickness. Not a terribly hard class, just a lot you have to know.

Bad. bad. bad. ok Regas is horrible at lecturing, I swear to god every single time I wanted to shoot myself SUPER BORING! Ok and ask anyone that took this class, he will ask the class questions and everyone yells out a different answer! he does not go over the material well at all....always trying to hurry. skip this guy.

This class wasn't too hard. I missed like 4 lectures and I didn't fall behind. I don't recommend any more misses though cause I did come close to falling behind. If you miss a lecture listen closely to your TA during a lab. You'll do well if your willing to do the light load of work. Tests and quizes start easier and get harder. I got a B+.

He is a great teacher. He goes over the material so much that it just sticks, plus astronomy was a very interesting class anyways i recommend it to anyone who still needs to fill a science credit for GE and i would sugest no other teacher than Regas and his TA's who run labs are also very helpful

He is really nice and goes over the material over and over. Hard subject but after so much practice and the note hand-outs he give you the class doen't seem as hard. Don't buy the book you won't need it!!!!

Astronomy was such a great choice compared to chem. Regas was a thurough teacher and I learned a lot. Lectures move terribly fast and are a bit boring. Labs tell you EVERYTHING you need to know but I wouldnt skip lectures. Standing on Hold Hall's roof looking at Saturn's rings was one of the best class experiences ever!

Knows his science very well. The lectures are dry, but give a lot of good information. Go to labes, they help you to understand a bit better than the lectures will. Do the worksheets, they are great for sttudy guides for the exams.

definitely knowledgable. he will help you get the grade if you take the time to understand, read, and ask him questions. Do the extracredit that's optional. Defitely worth it. Fun labs as well. Challenging, but you leran a lot. DO YOUR HOMEWORK and WORKDSHEETS! It pays of during finals.
