I was told that Physio would be harder than anatomy, but he made it so easy that I didn't work as hard to get an A. He is crystal clear, fair, and friendly. He is the best life science teacher so far! don't buy the book. do the labs. study the study guides. record his lectures if u can, especially the review sessions.

Physio8/9 will always be easier than anat1/phys1. A really good teacher & genuinely cares about students that actually try. Lectures r mostly entertaining but studying 4 practicals will be the hardest thing about this course, no matter which prof u take. He gives study guides & reviews b4 every exam, so if this isnt a refresher course 4 u, STUDY!!!

awesome teacher. i took this class over the summer and did well. exams are based on lecture only so take good notes. i highly recommend recording lectures and retaking your own notes at home. exams are multiple choice. lab practicals are easy but require much memorization. put the time into it and stay for the entire lab time. it pays off.

This proff is the head of the dept, his lecs are great, the labs are good, however his test writing skills are poor. The test q's are matching on MC, and some q's are on less talked about items. Almost like trick q's, last thing ya need for this type of class. The exams are not straight forward. Rikel needs to take a class on how to write exams.

His class is not easy. You can get an A if you study the notes. Lab was sooooo killer. Lots of memorizing. He's nice and never gets sick of answering the same questions over and over. You'll enjoy class and learn ALOT. Just make sure you have the time to study. Everything on the test is from the notes.

Great subject! conveyed well, major memorization needed, lectures well organized,very knowledgable teacher, but you would be too after teaching the same subject for years. Heres the catch, his personality stinks,a real wise A.Arrogant, kind of a big whining baby. Vague responses and sarcasm not necessary. Subject can overwhelm you. Just go for it!

lectures well with some humor. class isn't that hard, you just need to put effort in. Add up your points early, final is easy and study guides before each test are extremely helpful, in fact, they are the whole test. Overall a great professor. A good partner is recommended, especially if u'r slow in life sciences.
