I loved Dr Rocks. Best guidelines for writing papers ever - I've given copies to some of my non-English major friends. He is such an awesome person, really engages everyone to participate and feel comfortable, confident. Take his class!

Dr. Rocks is a fantastic teacher! Very insightful, interesting and fun! He only assigns a few papers along with the final, so it's an easy A if you put effort into it. Take him if you get the chance, he's one of the best english teachers I've ever had!

Lectures are interesting but somewhat dry...he lacks passion and excitement for the topic, but he definitely knows what he is talking about...there's little discussion or creativity involved, making it easy to get an A but somewhat unfulfilling. good books make it worthwhile, though.

He is extremely intelligent and a great lecturer. Assignments are fair and never too long, but need to do them. He is a very fair grader and a wonderful teacher! I have had him twice and wish I had time to take him again! One of Loyola's best!

He can be dry at times, but knows what he is talking about. He likes to dress very color coordinated. Over all easy class as long as you read because he picks on people randomly. If you take him twice he gets nicer and grades easier!
