I had Jim for one semester in Fall of 1994. He was a great teacher and one of two great teachers that I found at Mars Hill. I ended up taking from one of his friends, Dr. McKinney at ASU a few years later. Jim helped me a lot with my trombone sound in the lower register. I wish I had been able to taken more lessons w/o staying at Mars Hill.
