Professor Glavin, may he rest in peace, was the greatest teacher in Newhouse. His stories were hilarious but also very informative. He made me want to be in the magazine world even more than I had previously. He taught me a lot in the short time I was in his class and is truly an inspiration.

Bill Glavin is awesome. Its true, he can go off on tangents occasionally but there are pearls of wisdom locked in there. Plus he is really helpful on improving your writing. More importantly, he is a great guy and someone who continues to help his students after they graduate. He is the head of the MAG department for good reason! Take his class!

Glavin is an amazing professor. Other Newhouse profs tell you what to do, but Glavin actually shows you how to do it. Comments he writes on your assignments are actually HELPFUL. He totally makes you a better writer.
