Professor Streib was my advisor, and a cool one at that! He knew how to balance academics with some of the more fun classes on campus. He is an excellent professor as well. Hats off to Professor Streib!

Comment:

I had Streib back when he WAS the entire department. Yes, he can be frazzled at times, but he knows his stuff and is willing to share his knowledge. Upper-level lectures tend to get sidetracked, but it's easy to get him back on track. He is willing to go over concepts several times until the students understand. Great prof and friend!

Dr. Streib is very intellegent and very helpful; however, his lectures in upper level courses tend to be very esoteric; the majority of my notes, and those of my classmates are our random doodlings. He's a great guy though and class is always intersting, even if its not productive.

Nice guy, and he sure knows what he's talking about, but covers material too quickly. You pretty much fend for yourself on labs and homework. Avoid if you're a highly visual learner.
