Professor Thomas assigns books that are extremely hard to find and pricey to buy, he doesn't give a site for the book and it's crazy because when I took him it was an ONLINE course. He clearly shows he doesn't care and is not willing to work with you! I recommend no freshman should take him especially for your first semester of virtual schooling.

James was pretty easy. All you have to do is read the stories because he quizzes you (5 questions) on them at the start of class after he assigns each one. Don't just skim, literally read because he WILL ask for things such as descriptions or specific events. Email him drafts of your papers and he will steer you towards an A through feedback.

I took him during the summer so he was pretty relaxed about work. We watched movies very often and had a lot of variety on topics for papers. Most classes was just us reading a short story and talking about it. Nothing too hard. In most cases the assignments are simple. We had 2 papers overall the whole semester and he gives us time to correct them

2 papers the whole semester, we read two short stories a week which means we had 2 quizzes a week. Only 4 questions. Very easy. In all honesty, its up to the student if they want to pass this class or not.

Very Average professor... He wasn't terrible but he didn't seem very interested in his own subject. There wasn't too much class involvement and he didn't really address the class it just seemed like he was going through the motions. If you like the material then this will probably be a good class but if you're already uninterested he is boring

Professor Thomas was really simple and straight forward. I took the online like 6 week class short. First week just syllabus quiz and your first rough draft. Then second week your final draft and so on. total of 3 quizzes final was a paragraph on what we learned. He is very particular on MLA. You need the book because all topics are based on the it

He doesn't care if you pass or fail. He made that VERY clear the first day of class. He doesn't leave comments on papers. He has a very foul mouth, and all of the poems and stories he has us read are usually provocative. He assigns 3 papers. He gave us 2 months for the first one, 2 weeks for the second and 1 week for the 3rd. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

Extremely easy A. I took him during the summer so we had 3 papers, all on short stories. A couple of quizzes each week, which are SUPER easy as long as you just read the story. And watched 3 movies.

Pretty cool teacher. 3 Papers, short story, novel, and poem. All 1500 words or less. Easy quizzes as long as you read the poem/short story. Watched movies a few times. Never calls on people too much. A little harsh sometimes depending on the student.

Great professor! He's extremely funny and his class is easy and interesting. If you do the essays and score reasonably well on them, you'll pass no problem. Easy A class, I recommend him for sure. :)

I'm a writer, so I had no problem with the essays, but he was tough on people with bad grammar and unoriginal ideas; I find this completely reasonable. I did low/average (Cs & Ds) on quizzes, As on all 3 essays, probably a B on the final, and ended with an A:) VERY FAIR teacher. He lets you out early All THE TIME, which I loved:)

Not sure if you want to be blind sided by a final that has all to do about something he never reviewed. His Critiques on your paper are harsh, and he does not explain his comments. Good Luck if you take him.
