First time I have ever disagreed with RMP ratings. He might but hard of hearing, but he is explicit in what he expects, and is more than willing to help. He is really nice too. His test are difficult, but they are always curved and they aren't even a large percentage of your grade. If you have the choice, take him!

This man just needs to retire. He means well, but doesn't really know what's going on, or how to explain it. He can't hear due to medical reasons, so classes were a joke. Read the book and you'll learn more than classes. Tests are completely incomprehensible.

I think Professor Turpin was fine. I would be happy to take one of his classes again. Some of the test questions were surprising - like we never actually covered the material. Overall I enjoyed him. Homework is minimal.

Takes forever to grade things, its mid november and havnt got back labs we did in sept, so students never know where they are in the class and how to improve. nice guy and willing to help you in the lab but hard of hearing so you need to talk loudly
