This class was Intro to music theory and was for non-music majors. Though he treated it like we were all going to use this stuff every day for the rest of our lives, which I defiantly will not. Had to put too much time into this class, which would have been unnecessary if i had chosen a different professor. He is nice but wouldn't recommend.

He is awful at lecturing, just rambles for an hour and 20 minutes. Gives no time to take tests, and expects everyone in the room to be as fast and good at music theory as him. He does not help answer any questions and makes students feel stupid.

Incredible lesson instructor. Granted, he's pretty goofy, but man does he know what he's talking about, and really pushes for one to advance in their playing ability. Also a very knowledgeable theory professor.

Dr. Wheat is hardcore. I love him. he's a great teacher and is very knowledgeable. i dont know how he is in a classroom setting but he's great for lessons if you're in low brass

He would not show us our grades until the last day, making it impossible to drop if grades were poor. He has a horrible attitude if you don't do exactly what he wants. The BIGGEST mistake in college yet was taking his class.
