Comment:
I had this professor back in 2003. He was knowledgeable but all over the place. He never turned in papers and assigned grades seemingly randomly. As far as I know, he is a psychoanalyst in LA now and goes by Jamey Hecht. Probably good that he switched careers.

Haad this professor in 2002 for ENG 102. He assigned us several papers. I turned in all of them. NEVER received them back. He wouoldnt come to class most of the time. The fianl was a paper based on a book. NEVER received a grade for it and my final grade ended up being a C. I dont understand how that was possible. Stay away from this guy.

Spews more useless knowledge about conspiracy theories and the Kenedy's than any person should ever know. Grades were given back after the next assignments were due, hence after the same mistakes were repeated befor you knew you made the mistake. Offers extra credit and doesn't count it. Am I making sense here? because this is the way he teaches.

He is definitely the most intelligent professor at John Jay, and possibly the most intelligent person in the tri-state area. He is awesome.

I don't know if he is still teaching but he messed up my grade and I have never been able to reach him to have it corrected. I was promised an A and received a C. This brought down my GPA. He is a foutain of useless knowledge and loves to talk about it

He is a brilliant professor. He does tend to get off the topic sometimes but he does make some really great jokes. I would recommend him to anyone.

Don't get him started about the CIA! Spends more time off on tangents than teaching the material. Pleasant professor write the papers then re-write and you get an A.

BORING!!! you fall asleep, he's a walking dictionary. Too many papers and makes you read really boring stuff. He is a nice guy though. Easy A if you do the work and study the vocabulary.
