Very willing to help and a pretty easy class. Either go to every class or have someone to put your name on things because attendance is big. If you get enough pts from that, not doing so well on the tests won't kill you. Also, 2 presentations are pretty important. Overall, fairly easy class. Reminded me of HS Chemistry

like other comments, seriously who hands out one test at a time. she goes on about nothing and tries to make people participate when they dont want to, its a lecture hall with 70 some people, not 20! also teaches the class like its a 400 class instead of a 100...so boring, dont take!

Dr. Schneider sometimes goes TOO in-depth with material. She is a nice lady, tests are ok, in-class assignments are repetitive/boring, but help your grade. Overall, not terribly hard, but not a blow-off class by any means, the material is just tough.

VERY basic chemistry. If you took a high school chem class, you won't need to study for the first couple weeks. The lab is fine, early Friday morning kinda sucks, but if you need to take a science w/ lab this is a great choice.

WORST prof i've ever had. doesnt explain things,goes through info TOO FAST, and decides to give us new material THE DAY BEFORE A FREAKIN EXAM. flies through info and is NOT helpful at all. she laughed at me when i asked for help. for a prof whose research is in finding an effective way to teach kids, she's HORRIBLE. do NOT take her. This class will swallow your soul and destroy your will to live. You probably won’t get out alive. Don’t get me wrong, Dr. Schneider is a great teacher but the material is extremely challenging. Be prepared to spend every waking hour on this class.

The class isn't that bad, but the tests are tricky. She has powerpoints, but they are not that organized. If you need to get gen ed done, this would be a good class- but stay away from the lab if you can.

Dr. Schneider is really nice and friendly, but she is a hard grader on lab reports. Her tests are long and can be tricky, but her curve is not that bad. Go in for help if you don't understand; I thought she was better in person than in lecture. She is very willing to work with students.

Not a very challenging class. A drawback with this prof is that the tests are scratch off, so you can never change your answers! Lab reports are expected to be extremely detailed and long. She is very approachable and willing to help, though.

She's a pretty good professor, and she's very understanding and easy to talk to. The class is a little difficult, but she really helps break it down. She uses If-AT forms for tests which helps you get points even for mistakes.
