Jan would tell me to do something one way and then say later that she didn't. She was very unorganized and could be rude. It became quite frustrating and disappointing.

Total Bureaucrat. Only interested in protecting her job an in promoting how necessary it is. She has been at the school at least since it was only one building at it's current site. So she is very good at making people think she is needed. Very officious. A regular (well I am not allowed to put that here).

She is amazing! She helped me every step of the way to pass this class and to find work. She allowed us,students to pick what topics we wanted to learn about, and she always cared about how we all were doing. The only time I ever saw her lose patience was when someone was being stubborn or acting plain silly.

Jan is a real advocate for students. She is encouraging,kind,and models a work ethic that is an example for students. Really loved this instructor. WCC is lucky to have her.

Jan is very unorganized and rude. She didn't bring the right syllabus to class and after learnig that she messed up her schedule, made it our problem by insisting we come in on our days off. She said we ask too many questions and doesn't like to clarify what she wanted from us. She was also impossible to get into see because she is way over booked.

This class was very disorganized. The 1st day of class we got a schedule for the wrong quarter, and from there it got worse. She was told she could have any time and day she wanted to teach the class so she picked Mon, wtr qtr, figured it was our responsibility to make up the classes because of holidays but coming in on another day. Class dropped

I immediately dropped her class after attending the first day of CO-Op class. Jan rubbed me the wrong way. It was not appropriate that she teaches students how to use people for their own benefits. I believe that one should help another because they need help, not to hold it against them.

She is one of the most caring and encouraging people I've met since attending any college. She sensible and understanding but you can't BS her. I have the utmost respect for her.

I took Co-Op 180, which is a class to help you discover what you want to do for a career, and it didn't help me decide one bit. It was the biggest waste of money I've spent on any classes I've taken. I regret taking the class, it was only worth 2 credits, and doesn't do anything towards my degree. Ended up with a B+, and I rarely went to class.
