AWFUL. Grades extremely biased. Never explained grades - even after going in for one on one appointments. Vague on papers. Required us to purchase her book.. weird. could not stand her class or methods to teaching. Class most days was an absolute joke. if you have her, SWITCH. you will save your gpa and possibly learn something in a different class

She is hilarious. She doesn't mean to be at all but she is probably one of the most random and funny professors. In the margin of my notes I still have quotes of the stuff she would say. Never a dull moment. She loves the west and make sure you know your stuff in her class. She randomly calls on people so be ready. I learned a lot from her.

WORST teacher I've ever had. I wish tenure didn't apply for her because she HONESTLY doesn't deserve or represent the Augustana community. She doesn't care about her students and grades EXTREMELY biased and unfairly. Definitely has something against the greek system too *don't wear your greek coats or rly just don't take her!!.

I loved her! She was hysterical! I had her for When Paradise Was Lost and that class was the easiest! I strongly recommend it! She also tends to be very sexual, or at least her comments are ridiculous, but funny!

Was the worst professor I have ever had. Clearly plays favorites and harshly grades anyone who does not write in the "cheesy" writing style she prefers. Told me to change the topic of a 15 page paper (I had completed) the day before it was due because she wasn't interested in the topic.

Um yeah, worst proffesor ever. Be aware, if you do not agree with her on any topic, you will not do well in her class. She gave me a D in seminar because she disagreed with my view on a novel. Too bad for her I went onto grad school after Augie and am now being considered an "outstanding" English teacher and I'm just doing my student teaching.
