Oh Rumore. She is more meticulous about the format of your work than ANY math teacher I've ever had. She will drive you nuts taking points off for things you never could have thought of or she never mentioned. BUT, if you work your butt off and show it, she will respect you and help you. She is indeed very kind, and allllllll about math.

Dr. Rumore is a quality, caring teacher who goes above & beyond the call of duty for her students. She is serious about math, and is also well rounded & has fun with her students. Her expectations are clear, fair, & rock solid. She dedicates her whole life to helping students succeed & understand mathematics & math ed. Love this prof!

this lady is an awful teacher. you learn little to nothing during lecture and are expected to gain the knowledge on your own. i do not recommend her unless you enjoy hours on hours on hours of work in this one class after each lecture.

Dr. Rumore is the true definition of a teacher. You will certainly learn in her class, but you have to work! She will push you and challenge you. If your looking for an easy grade, don't take her. If you want to actually get your money's worth of education, DEFINITELY take her.

The first week she does her best to scare off everyone who is not going to take the class seriously, but she gets easier. She takes a little bit to get used to, but by the end of the semester she is like a grandmother. Although she is tough, she is definitely worthwhile.

She knows her Calculus. If you want to actually learn and have a good foundation for calc 2 and 3 take her class. It's a tough class but doing all the work, taking steady notes, reading the textbook, and asking questions are will allow you to pass this class. If you want future math classes to be easier take her and get the hard work done now. * Don't take it personally, she doesn't really hate her students... I think

Although Dr. Rumore is a generally nice lady, she can come across as gruff and rude. She won't tolerate any bad behavior, so as long as you stay on her good side you'll be fine. Also, she doesn't like to answer questions during the lecture. Class is pretty easy, online hw and she'll drop your lowest 3 quizzes.

To say that Prof Rumore is a horrible teacher is an understatement. She is not only one of the worst math teachers I have ever had, she is the worst professor I have EVER had PERIOD. Whether your good at math or not she is terrible.

I went to her towards the end of the semester and told her that i was really trying in her class to do well but i was having a really hard time understaying some of the material. Her response..."Well i don't know what to tell ya." I mean come on...you're the teacher. Wasn't very nice unless you were getting straight A's in her class...favoritism.

im taking rumore now and will probably take this all back when i get my test back but i think rumore is a special kinda teacher that is a teacher. shes not easy and she doesnt put up with crap but she will teach you and i think more times than not you will appreciate math at the conclusion of her class. dont take if you want an A.

My reccomendation: only take this class if you have taken calculus in high school, and/or familiar with calc already. Rumore will tell you what she expects and you will be expected to do it. It will be difficult at first, but stick with her and she will warm up to you. She cares about you as a person, too, i promise.

I had to withdraw. I am an athlete and not that it means anything. It's just I went to her for extra help a lot of times and she mocked me and made me feel dumb.
