I thought Jan was sooooo funny. I just really liked his sense of humor. As far as the class goes I got an A. His notes are so easy to follow and the test were not hard for me at all.

If you know how to draw a line, you can pass his class. There is homework everyday and the problems on the test are very similar. To get an A in the class, you should read the book. Palmer has some good stories and is funny. I enjoyed the class. As long as you can part with your electronics for his class, you'll be good.

Palmer is an awesome guy, not a bad class if you show up and do homework you should be able to pull a C off easy, homework every night but not too much. No electronics, if people say palmer sucks is most likely because they didn't show up and got bad grades or if they did they were told to put their phones away.

He is serious when he says that ECON1030 is more like a 3000 level class. You have to go and pay attention to his lectures. If you don't go, good luck trying to catch him during office hours. His lectures are short, sweet and to the point. ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRONICS ALLOWED. He will literally pull you out of class.

Palmer is a pretty funny guy who teaches in a clear and understandable way. His lectures seemed to go by pretty quickly and he does a lot of examples in class which are very helpful. Definitely attend class if you want to understand any of the material. There is homework every night online, but it is manageable and fairly quick.

Jan in one word is, crazy. He runs all over the classroom and will not allow any electronic devices, including pagers which no one has. He will kick you out if you leave class twice, so make sure you don't have a full bladder. Homework every night. You wont have a curve so don't ask. Also going in to his office won't help.

Connect homework every night but it's very manageable. He puts all the notes up on connect but they're confusing if you didn't hear the lecture. Don't use cellphones or laptops. He's a great teacher and if you show up and do the connect it's an easy A.

Not an easy class. He is pretty clear when he teaches, but on tests 1/3 of It is in the textbook. read the chapters before the test and youll be fine. you have plenty of study material, use it. class is not mandatory, but you should go to pass the tests. Don't use your cell or labtop in class, he gets furious.

I really enjoyed Palmer's class. No cell phones or it will get thrown across the room by him (and yes he really threw someones phone). Online homework everyday, annoying but very helpful because its the same thing everyday making it easy to remember for tests. Just do your online homework everyday and go to class everyday or you'll fall behind.

Even though there was homework online most days, it was pretty easy and quick to complete. While class was not mandatory, completing the homework is essential in getting a good grade. Dr. Palmer is very friendly and occasionally throws in a story that may or may not be related to the content. WARNING: the word copacetic will be used a lot!

I LOVED Prof. Palmer's class. As long as you do the connect and keep up with him in lectures, its an easy A. He has a very odd sense of humor, which I thought was amusing, but others... not so much. You either love him or you hate him!

One of my favorite professors on campus. He is extremely clear with the content and basically gives you the questions that are on the exam. Definitely get the book, he pulls test answers directly from it. Easy class, doesn't let you use phoneslaptops in class, but honestly it is helpful, it makes you pay attention and understand the material.

He is a very good teacher and you will have a really good understanding of the course when it's over. He goes slow enough and is clear so that everyone understands. Don't text in class, like seriously I got kicked out for it. Even with that I would say he was one of the best professors I've had. Do the homework, take good notes and read the book.

I took this class twice. The first time I was lazy and failed like a lot of these losers below me. The next time, I worked hard, did the homework, went to class, and attended any study sessions I could find, and I got an A. It's not hard, just do the work and stop waiting for everything to be handed to you.

He yells and students and kicks kids out by throwing their backpacks and notebooks out of the room all because he want to have a distraction free environment. His tests are about 1/3 multiple choce that he pulls specifcally form the book which are impossible to prepare for. He is also a extremely rude and unhelp outside of class.

Class isn't mandatory but there is connect HW every night, do it and you can probably get a B on every test. Tests are fairly easy except the questions pulled directly from page numbers- impossible to get right

Palmer has been my best professor thus far. He always made sure students were "copacetic" with the teachings. There was Connect homework everyday, but the math on the exams will be a breeze if you actually do it. His tests asked very specific examples from the book (normally from the yellow box examples), so make sure to know your stuff. Loved it!
