Fantastic and engaging lecturer. Physics 2052 is a hard class, but Dr. Ingram makes it seem dead simple. His methodology of explaining and introducing new concepts is elegant and effective.

Easily worst professor I've ever had. Speeds through the lecture without the chance to even write the notes down. Acts as though he's "above" teaching this course. Physics is hard enough as it is, but this guy makes it so, so, so much worse.

He is not the best teacher, but from what I heard he's better than a lot of the others. Overall the class kind of just sucks, but if you go and pay attention you can probably get a good idea what is going on. Definitely try and get tests from previous semesters, that will help a lot.

I consistently got the feeling that he was explaining the content in a way that someone on his level of thinking could understand, but was more difficult for us to learn. One on one I learned a lot when I had questions for him though. Also CAPA is still terrible, and the labs are still annoying. The content is a LITTLE easier than 2051.

Ingram took the course a lot slower than the one physics course preceding it. The first exam was relatively easy; each midterm only covers a few chapters, but with in-depth concepts, which makes it easier to study for. problems are similar to loncapa work, and exams are extremely similar to his exams in previous semesters.

Bought the $$$ book and then realized all you need is the wileyplus code so that sucks. The lon capa hw is unbearable and takes forever ( I'll warn you to not wait until the last minute to do it but you'll prolly do it anyway). I personally didn't click with this professor. I kinda got the vibe that he felt teaching this class was below him...

Dr. Ingram is clear, well-prepared, and thorough. He has a cool British accent, and he's super helpful if you go to his office hours. CAPA homework is killer, but good prep for the tests (which are difficult but graded fairly). Tough class, but manageable and actually pretty fun if you like physics.

Terrible teacher, terrible class. The professor is too lazy to teach, and instead uses some "reverse-classroom" crap instead. This results in everyone being completely clueless and not learning anything. The labs are horrid (you have to write a ~15 page report at on point), online homework is a idiotic, TAs are unhelpful and mean. AVOID PHYSICS

He's got a British accent! The online homework is a pain but it really helps teach the material. I bought the book but it's useless. He takes attendance. Exams are really hard, but the lab really helped keep my grade up along with the homework. This class is a lot of Calculus so you better understand it!

This class is quite difficult and a lot of work but Ingram is a very good teacher. Online homework is hard sometimes but prepares you well for exams. Weekly group and individual quizzes. Lab's a decent amount of work but not hard. Ingram teaches with a Powerpoint that has a lot of diagrams, etc. He is usually able to explain things fairly well.

He is an alright professor, but his class is extremely difficult. The lectures consist of few examples and he teaches directly off a PowerPoint. If you ask him for help, he will help you. Quizzes are fairly easy, but the exams are very tough! Your grade is based on in-class questions, quizzes (individual and group), lab, and exams.

He isn't really terrible, but tough. He teaches from powerpoint and has the slide online, so don't expect examples. Quizzes/tests are graded pretty harsh, and are tough to begin with. To study, do the CAPA over and over again... And then pick the problem you'd say "nahhhh, that wouldn't be on the test, we barely went over it!" It'll be on the test.

Not a good teacher at all. He doesn't explain anything and often messes up in lecture, making a confusing class worse. Notes are moved through at a blistering rate, hope you can keep up! His use of equations is at a grad student's level, thinking that you can find all sorts of different relationships that make almost no sense. Choose someone else!!

This teacher is absolutely useless. He does problems in class, but doesnt explain how to solve them or even tell you equations that you need. He just throws up answers and hopes you know everything automatically. All his notes are from power points and he moves fast. Unless you are just retaking this class, avoid him!

Horrible professor, his clarity on anything is completely nonexistent, I would not go as far as to say that the man is an idiot because he has his PhD, well yes I would go that far actually. Attend a few of his lectures and you will feel the same.

He is a horrible teacher, but compared to your other choices he is the best to get. In the class size he does not really have the chance to ever answer any of your questions. If you dont understand some of the material you better find someone that does because you will get no help from him.

The WORST professor I have ever taken. He lectures are just boring. With powerpoint, he makes it even harder. He is EXTREMELY UNfriendly. Don't bother to ask him questions because he will gives you a "look". The hw and exam are just insanely difficult. Take his course if you like to suffer~

Awesome British accent first off. Boring PowerPoints but they could be worse. The homework is tough but do-able. Quizzes are usually similar to homework but are sometimes completely off the wall. Exams are incredibly difficult but if you know enough about physics, you'll be ok. Lots of partial credit and a big curve. Take if possible
