Comment:

She is a very sweet lady but she does not know how to teach plain and simple. The day before our exam, she talked about the day of the dead which had absolutely nothing to do with the exam. You don't have to come to every single class to know what is going on, so don't worry about attendance. All in all, she's nice, but it is a self taught course

Great person… kind of losing her marbles though… she repeats her lectures a lot, which makes learning very easy but progress very difficult… I think she realized this over the course of the semester and subsequently graded us/tested us easily/fairly. Not being a language major, she made the experience tolerable. Thank GOD.

She was by far my favorite teacher first semester. She is so nice, and loves spanish which makes me want to love it too. Hard if you don't show up to class, and she gets upset when people are absent for no reason, so i would show up everyday. textbook work is easy, so is online work. overall good teacher. I would recommend taking her class.

I had a great teacher in high school and took Spanish for 3 years. I came into this class confident and soon realized I was defenitly going to have a hard time with this professor. She basically expects you to teach yourself and is quiz happy. She also gives online activities which are difficult and confusing. She's lazy and sucks at teaching.

I would not say she is the best teacher at the school,I would never say anyone in the language dept was. She was very nice&passionate about the language but I did not find her very helpful.I took intermediate spanish and got a C- and I'm generally an A/B student. Didn't do much explaining/teaching,talked more about culture.

She's easily the best in the department. I'm not going to lie - the intermediate level is tough for anyone who did not have an intensive Spanish course previously. It's a lot of work but what language course isn't? She's helpful and goes over the material a decent amount before exams.

i thought that she has a clear passion for the spanish language but i do not feel like she is one of the best teachers at teaching it. She is very one-wayed about a lot of things, and if she does not like you then she will not be as willing to help you.

she really does have a passion for the spanish and that's clear in her teaching. she is very helpful and is good at pacing the class so the whole class is at a good level (sometimes works to your favor if you're above average.) make videos where you speak, compositions, vocab quizzes, exams, and hw from the book/workbook. really not too bad.
