You are going to want to show up to the class! Professor Cary does exactly what will be on the test in class especially the listening for the tests. If you go to her for help she will help you and you really are going to want to know basic music terms because they are used throughout the whole semester. In the end nothing is cumulative!

She is a very easy professor. I did learn something from her, but she isn't too demanding. I didn't put a ton of effort into class and I still got an A and got exempt from the final. She has a bit of a speech impediment which made for some funny classes.

She's decent. She gives you what you need but doesn't explain it very well. Keep up with the textbook readings; she gets very upset if she calls on you in class and you can't answer a question out of the reading. Listen to the music she plays in class. Quizzes are easy. Tests are moderate. Look at the Powerpoints and, again, read the textbook

Class was overall easy. You need to go to get the notes and you need to study (not a whole lot) for tests. As long as you pay attention in class, you should be fine. Very few easy hw assignments, 3 mandatory concert reviews, 2-3 smaller papers, 1 big one, mid-term and unit tests. I got over a 93 average in the class & didn't have to take the exam.

Prof Cary is a good teacher. She LOVES MUSIC and expects everyone to love it to. If you don't like classical music, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I never registered for this class, they did it for me. It sucks listening to classical music at 8:30 in the morning. No hw, 3 music reviews, 1 major paper, mid-term and a final. STUDY if you dont know anything.

She is really into music and does not understand that everyone may not be. She gives study guides for tests..if you study them youll do fine on tests. Concerts are annoying. There is a research paper. Pretty easy class..easy A or B

She's a nice lady, pretty easy class. Pay attention, study for the tests and you will do fine. Make sure you do all the concerts, just get them over with, that's the hardest part of the course, and it's not that bad! Easy A or B

Her masterpieces of music class is pretty easy. She gives you a review sheet for every test and gives you everything thats going to be asked. The only hard work is one paper and going to 3 concerts
