Dr. Chew is a great seminar professor. She is very good at leading class discussions; lectures are interesting and interactive. There is a fair amount of reading for this class but that is expected with any writing seminar. Very interesting professor. I thouroughly enjoyed her intro to German class. Her tests are easy to do well on if you look over the review sheet she gives out. You need to study the vocabulary thouroughly though. She made the class very fun.

She's tough enough during class to make you learn the material, but her tests are crystal clear and very passable - especially since she gives you a good study guide a couple nights before:) Class time is not always the most engaging thing in the world, but the woman can be HILARIOUS. Well-structured, solid class - go for it!:)
