Easy A if she likes you. Lectures a lot and does not use PowerPoint at all. Or blackboard, so its lots of fun not knowing your grade. Tests are multiple choose and essay, but she gives a guide for each one and they are non-cumulative. I didnt like her teaching style, but others seem to love her.

Really nice lady. Definitely get on her good side and you'll get an A. The coursework is relatively easy, just lots of busy work. Have assignments due each week, ones which actually help get you prepared for the real world. Really respected teacher with lots of experience.

Jane is a sweet lady but probably retiring soon. Get on her good side in the beginning and you have nothing to worry about. Easy A if you participate. She tells some pretty crazy stories about her youth. Get to know her and visit her in office hours. She gives a study guide for tests; just look at that and it's an easy A. Would recommend!

She is not very helpful and when asking for help on an essay she told me to figure it out on my own because she's trying to make her students more independent. I'm not paying to be told "sorry I cannot help you with that, but good luck." I don't know some days she would be nice and other days she would say some very offensive comments about people.

Dr. Jegerski is like a sweet grandmother. She has her ups and her down like any human being. She s old fashioned in that she believes that students should do all of their work and on time. If you are ever confused, go to her office! She will happily help you and you will earn brownie points for trying to understand the material.

Old school? ABSOLUTELY, but that is what makes her a great professor. She does play favorites, but even that is subjective. Participation doesn't hurt, especially if you want to PASS. Study the guides, and take GOOD notes and watch the extra credit, do ALL of it, and you can pass. DO the service learning RIGHT and the paper RIGHT and you're fine.

Dr. Jegerski is an awesome professor! If you go in and talk to her she will help you. The class is challenging which is the point of college. She is very clear about her expectations so if you fall behind you can only blame yourself. She is probably one of the most professors at Elmhurst hands down. If you're a psych major you should take a class.

I loved her! If you come and see her, ask questions and put in effort into your work she will meet you half-way. She is ALWAYS willing to help students. She will fit you into her schedule if you would like extra help. She does appreciate outside work so this is not a teacher you can slack off with but you WILL learn from her which is the point!

Why are there so many negative comments on here!? Excellent professor. Learned so much! The class was very interesting, and not exceptionally difficult. One of my favorite classes in college. Wish all my classes and professors were like this. Very nice lady. If I wasn't graduating I'd DEFINATELY take another class with her!

She's old school, for sure, but she's a great teacher and very knowledgeable. She's the kind of person who has dedicated her entire life to her field and has definitely developed strong opinions. You'll love her if you're a liberal and/or feminist. If not, you might be offended. Excellent teacher though!

She's nice if you like.. pay her off. She's VERY fond of favoritism. Keep in mind she'll take 2.5 points extra off for every wrong question on a test AND the class in total is only worth 100 POINTS! She will fail you for "not participating" when she rambles and you can't talk. Went from all As to D for only listening in class. Don't take for major!

I was also surprised with all the negative comments? Dr. Jergerski is great! She is VERY willing to talk to you after class, or during an appointment, she is very helpful. Clearly you have to work in her class....but it's college...don't know why anyone would be surprised. She really is great, great professor and person-EXTREMELY knowledgeable

Dr. Jegerski is a very caring person if you give her the chance. Get to know her, stop by her office and talk to her. She lectures all the important points of the book, so you don't really need to read the text that much to get an A. Just write a strong research paper. Do go to class. Attendance is mandatory, and she won't excuse any absences, even fails you on the sixth absence. She has her favorite students, and she is not afraid to show it.

This professor screwed me over. She gave me a 0 on a paper worth 33% of the class grade b/c of a misunderstanding on the due date. Then she refused my rough draft (which I offered to turn in right that second), and said there was no way to earn any credit for it. Instant D.

She can be pretty rude and passive aggressive with students. Very little is said in the class that you can't learn from the textbook- and actually the textbook makes the material more interesting than she does. (I'm female.) She is a feminist, but sometimes comes off as a man-hater -not cool. She isn't always clear about how she grades assignments.

Always talking about how fat she is and how she quit smoking. NO ONE CARES! She is so boring and the class is a total waste. It's hard to pay attention to someone so dull. She treats men horribly (I'm female) and she grades subjectively. She plays favorites. The personality class did not teach me much. She does not know what she is talking about.

She is a man-hater who has been burned in the past and takes it out on the male population in her class. She is very rude to her students and doesn't hesitate to make them feel uncomfortable in her class. She is very unprofessional and is a shameless self-promoter. She had 1 hour windows for office hours as well.

She's one of the few psych professors I've had here so far that I have enjoyed or learned anything from! Dr. Jegerski is extremely passionate about social psych with a clear teaching style. Her class was the most challenging one I've had but I still had no trouble getting an A. Very willing to help if you ask during her office hours.
