Took this class for a social science requirement work wasn't too bad 2 tests, a critical thinking project, a quiz each week and a socioautobiography. If you have had a bad childhood or otherwise events in the past that you don't like to recall, the socioautobiography may putbstrain on you but otherwise a great class be ready to learn how to function well in a team b

Dr. Lord is the sweetest lady ever. She is sometimes unclear, however if you ask for help she will help you. She does insert her opinion on most subjects, although she trys her best to stay nonbias, as a Sociologist should be. If I could, I would definately take a class from her again.

Going to class is a necessity but she makes it very clear what grade you're going to get. She's very interesting and you do a ton of group work which makes it very easy to stay focused. I would DEFIANTLY recommend taking her she's great.

Dr. Lord is on of the best profeesors i've ever had, she is very nice and does not lecture the whole time at all. You do not have to go to class but it is wise to or you'll miss points. You'll get an A if you pay attention and attend class.

shes really nice and fun to have as a prof. shes been to india as well and she will tell about her trip. shes interested in what others think very much so. there are a number of groups and every week 2 groups will present their points, very fun and interacting.

omg awesome prof. makes soc fun. its an easy A IF you attend class...the discourses arent as bad as they sound..class discussions are always interesting...she wants you to do well and will track u down if ur not and try to help you

Dr. Lord is the coolest. First day of class she was playing Bob Dylan. Will take class outside at times too! Go to class do the work get an A. She teaches differently than most others, next thing you know... you know it! Easy exams, NO surprises.

i wouldn't say easy A...but it is a pretty easy class...definitely go to class and voice your opinions on things. Dont miss the quizzes and when you do the discourses...dont breeze through them...actually do the work and read the material. She knows when you're not prepared. it's scary.

this prof is only hired semester by semester, but I don't know why. She is easy and she teaches from a generally neutral angle. Students are encouraged to give their opinions at all times, and she never says someone is wrong. If you go to class, you should get an A, so problem.

A VERY easy class..mostly oriented around discussion and group work. Dr. Lord knows what she is talking about and likes to spark discussions. Although I despise this class because I hate the group I am stuck with, I can see that it otherwise is a good class.

first of all look automatically you should get and a, or b listen she offers, points every day, only a midterm test and a finally group work quiz woth 10 points evry week and no attendance policy she is the best i love her i learned alot sweet class.
