Great professor and she really wants you to succeed. Even if you think you did a bad job on an assignment, you can still get a good grade by recognizing your mistakes and improving. She's open to giving advice and VERY responsive to e-mails (some profs suck at responding)

Jane Stone likes to give A-. She is a tough grader, and will take off an entire half grade for any misspelled words. Loves to hear herself talk. Very accomplished journalist and broadcast news producer, with a pulitzer prize under her belt. Overall, really liked her, learned much about press ethics in her class. Likes to call on people randomly.

Prof. Stone is a hard grader in the beginning because she sets high standards. She is always available to meet and discuss how to improve. Be sure to send multiple revised drafts of your script and she'll look favorably upon you when it comes to grading. She is super nice, helpful, and engaging. I really learned a lot from her!

Jane is great! She's pleasant, helpful, and pushes you hard. I learned a lot and no matter how bad you screw up, she's always encouraging and let's you know how to fix it. I highly recommend her!

Jane is tough but fair. She's like an archetype of a journalist. It's really wonderful to be in her class because she brings so much knowledge to the table. At the same time she's realistic - maybe brutally so sometimes - but encouraging. Great teacher.
