Comment:

Harris is a horrible professor, and will refuse to work with you outside of class if she does not like you. Our homework was 5% of our grade, 3/4 of the students are failing and she only gave us extra credit to replace one homework grade. She coughs constantly and is never on time. I am surprised Clarkson kept her this long.

Every 5 sec she coughs and the worst part is she doesnt erase the board normal and she writes on top of the stuff that has been written on the board. Her Greek symbols all look the same She is late to class every time She insults students for asking question. Her returned materials are late she assigns 2343242 hw problems and it is 5% overall grade

Her lectures are boring! She talks at the board and her example problems don't relate to homework and test problems. I learned a lot from the textbook...enough to do well on 2 of the 3 exams. Also, she's always late and takes forever to return graded exams and homework.

Comment:

Thermo is a tough class to start with and she doesn't help you through it. In between bouts of coughing, mumbles to the board, her examples are tough to follow and grades tests very strictly. Get a good TA or tutor and hope for a C. Nice lady outside of class, just a lousy teacher.

Professor Harris is great. Even though shes late and coughing all the time its fine...that means you can be late and say you have the flu to get out of exams. She always responds to emails if you need help, and the exams aren't hard at all...it's basic math!

Honestly the worst teacher I have had at Clarkson. She consistently shows up 5 minutes late for class, often without notes or needed problems. When answering questions, she insults students. I really feel that she should not be teaching.
