Took two classes with Conway. Excellent prof. Very knowledgeable and insightful. Hard classes with lots of reading. It's true that you need some feminism background for 501, but I was happy about that. I'm tired of taking pol and soc classes where I'm at a grad school level and the others know zip. She should stay a bit more neutral in 601 though.

Fabulous mature woman with vast knowledge of her courses as well as other real-time issues. Dr. Conway is worldly and very concerned about her students' level of understanding. Thorough and tenacious with course material. She clearly wants you to succeed. Great Prof.

POL601 is a very important course, I wish everyone would take it. You can actually learn something in this course, and Professor Conway is a very competent and passionate instructor who is qualified to teach (Phd researcher, unlike so many other profs at Ryerson who seem to be just plucked off the street at random)

She is one of the most passionate professors I have ever had, who truly engages and challenges the students to think/learn the content. The workload was high for an elective, but I learned things/perspectives about the world that are invaluable, making it well worth it. Also, moving to completley superficial comments, her outfits are fierce!

She is my favourite professor from Ryerson. Don't expect an easy ride, but if you do the work, you'll reap the benefits. She is extremely passionate about what she teaches, which is a quality all too rare in professors these days. I highly recommend you take ALL of her classes!

She's so cute and elegent. Has very strong views about feminism. A lot of difficult reading (like 200 pages)! Good prof but course material is very difficult for people with no feminism backgrounds.

There is a lot of reading in this course. Her lectures are discussion based so if you're looking for a structured class that goes from point A to point B, this is not the one for you. Be prepared to work hard cos this class is a lit overwhelming for those who don't have strong feminist views.

This teacher is a very nice teacher however she puts me to sleep. Tends to forget that we are new to the topic of feminism and uses words interchangably. Good Teacher, however this class dont even bother taking it, its soooo boaring!!!!!!!
