Yes, this is without a doubt the most challenging and at some times frustrating english classes I have ever experienced, but if you can stick it out, you will be so glad you did. If you listen to her and take the time to meet with her durning class and her office hours she is very helpful. I got an A, but I've never worked so hard for one!

The worst teacher ever, the class was a waste of my time! She lost two of my essays and then said it was my fault. Then when she found them she still would not bring up my grade. She always contradicts herself when making corrections on the papers and does not know how to explain her self

Treats her students like they are still in kindergarten. If you want to spend all your time making T-charts and doing pre-writing exercises, take her class. If, however, you want to learn how to write intellectually engaging and mature college essays, take another teacher!!

Grrr! She forces you to insert a certain amount of stuff in each paragraph, like 2 semicolons, 2 compound sentences, etc. That doesn't teach you how to write smoothly. I stopped going the last 3 weeks, got an F, retook the class w/Butler and got an A!
