Greatest Professor Ever! She was so encouraging and easy to follow. Her classes felt more like sitting down for a chat than sitting through a lecture. Her teaching style was great and she was very approachable! Take notes, and get ready for field trips and movie days. Definitely show up to the class period before test day, helpful review sessions!

She is a bit weird, but she is definitely passionate. She makes class go by pretty quickly by switching things up by making us move around the room or watching a video. Take her.

I loved this class and Janet is an amazing professor!!! She loves the subject and cares so much about her students and makes sure everyone understands before moving on. She truly wants her students to succeed and I think that's hard to find. She's amazing! Take her class!!!! :)

She's a great professor. She loves what she is teaching and wants you to learn.She makes class fun and tries to get you to laugh at least once each class period. She's fun, but doesn't take excuses. She's very organized and presents everything clearly. She always has a back up plan. Do the work, pay attention, and you'll get an A.

I loved this class! It was so interesting and Janet always made it exciting! You do have to go to the child observation center once a week but it's not bad. Definitely take FSW 281 with Janet! You won't regret it.

Janet is awesome, makes an easy class even easier. Her tests are a breeze. You dont need to buy the book with her. She never gets mad, and with the group project all you have to do is get the class involved and you will get all the points. Janet is a fun teacher who cares about the subject she teaches so she makes it alot of fun!

She's kind of wierd. Her class isn't terrible. There is a lot of reading and you never know what exactly to study for. She grades papers funny and takes off points for things she doesn't know what she's talking about. Overall she's pretty nice though and she tries to be fair. She's okay. I might take her again, or I might not. Neutral.

Her tics are a little annoying. She does get a little confusing with her stats and the first test was all numbers which was confusing b/c you weren't sure which age group they were for. Research journals involved. Presentation & papers.

Wait, did someone give her all 5's? B/c she was terrible! One of the few times I have felt much smarter than a professor. Be prepared for mispronounciations, misspellings and misinformation, while she grades your papers extremely critically. Also, her mannerisms will make you want to kill yourself.
