I took this professor for this class as well as CI 360. I really like Dr. Arneson, but his lectures can drag on. He is a super nice guy and doesn't require much from you other than to do your work.

Dr. Arneson was lovely! He was very nice and helpful and he definitely cares about his students! He's so passionate about Social Studies and tries his best to instill that in his students! I would definitely take him again and would recommend that other Education students take him too!

I would definitely recommend taking this teacher. I am taking him again in the fall. He is always in a good mood and really cares about what he is teaching. He wants the best for students especially those becoming teachers. You obviously have to do the work, but it is nothing to stress over. He will know whether or not you know the material.

Dr. Arneson is a great professor. He really wants you to learn and will help you any way he can. No textbook and no tests and assignments are pretty easy as long as you take notes during class. You can even turn work in late and still get full credit. Class can get really boring but it's worth the easy grade. I would totally take him again.

Dr. Arneson was a great professor. Really loved him and he really wants you to learn. The last month and a half gets crazy with assignments due but he's really lenient with his grading and will help you if u need it. Tests were take home and needed to be 10 pages but no bad once you started writing! Class time is a little boring however.

Dr.Arneson truly wants you to learn and grow as a teacher. His class can be very boring but his grading is pretty easy.However the last few weeks of class can be very stressful becuase of the assignments that are required, BUT you do learn from them!!! Will do whatever he can to help you become a better teacher. Take him, it will be worth it!!!!

Super nice guy and very helpful. The last few weeks of class is demanding because you have to work on your units. He graded them pretty easy. You also do about 4 lesson plans throughout the class and two take home essay tests, write a lot for them. Really was a good class and get ready to write lesson plans but it is helpful and so is he.

We had to do this class in one months time and there was a lot of work and we had to be there everyday at 8am. He took pity though and gave us days off every week. He is the sweetest guy ever and a very good instructor. Sometimes it gets boring but it could be a lot worse. The things you do in this class are very helpful. Take him for this class!

I did not like Dr. Arneson or his class. It was very boring and I felt like he was always picking apart little innocuous things I said. He even seemed to get mad when I got all the states right on his "surprise map quiz". He was just weird, IMO.

I was worried at first, but it turned out to be a great class. I've learned alot and will use most of the knowledge gained. He likes for you to answer his questions and will wait until you have, so you might as well bite the bullet and speak up. He doesn't make you feel bad if it's wrong. It's not bad.
