Worst professor at Knox. Skips class frequently without saying why. Lectures are complete garbage, and the quizzes and exams are straight memorization. AVOID.

A lot of powerpoints and a lot of the info on the slides was skipped for unknown reasons. Did not explain things very well. I thought the class was easy, but for others there was little clarity. The grade of the class is 90% based on quizzes and exams.

Class is powerpoint structured. She likes to talk about cats, and she is approachable. Sometimes it's hard to follow her though. The class is very boring, probably the material. Not much you can do about that.

Kirkley is an incredibly demanding professor, that is not a question. She truly expects students to master the material and arguably teaches her classes at the graduate level. However, I have never learned so much information so comprehensively than after taking one of her classes. She also knows pretty much knows it all is always willing to help

One of my top 3 favorite professors. She is very hard but so knowledgeable and helpful. It's not easy to study biochemistry unless you work your ass off. So it makes sense that she has high expectation of you.

She is an awful teacher with absolutely no social skills. Her main objective is to get rid of as many students from her class as possible. She also tends to "review" topics that are completely new to the class and acts like the students are stupid if they don't understand.
