I have had Dr. Nelson twice so far and I have to say that he is one of best professors I have had at UT. He knows his materials REALLY well and is very passionate about law and politics. He explains really well even though the material is hard. The class can get boring sometimes because the material is not very exciting. Go to his office hours!

Professor Nelson is a great instructor. He has a great sense of humor and always presents the course material in a very interesting and intriguing way. While he isnt the easiest professor, he is always willing to help, and as long as you keep up with the readings you'll be alright. Make sure you buy ALL of the textbooks he requires. Great professor
