By far the WORST class ive ever taken. She could be the most boring and uninteresting person to ever teach. At the end of her for hour class you feel like you have learned nothing.

Can't say I enjoyed this class. It was easy work, but she is most always off topic. Tests are half off the study guide, the rest off the textbook. She takes it personally if you leave early, but her class is very difficult to sit through. Take this class if you need to, or if you personally know her, she did tend to have her favorites.

I could care less for Dr. Levins. The class itself wasn't hard at all. Take notes, print out the power points, do the diet studies, & study. You'll do fine. I personally didn't like her because of the way she talked. Very slow; hard to stay awake in her class.

Great lady, she does go off on tangents, but thats what makes the class interesting. I made an A in the class and barely tried, so for the ones who are complaining, they are probably not even making an effort, I.E.--the bad grade. Thanks Dr. Levins

Dr. Levins is never inaccessible or professorial. Like everyone, she has bad days, but on the whole, Dr. Levins keeps a very amiable and relaxed class atmosphere. She wants all her students to do well; the tests are straightforward but challenging. If you want an A, you MUST put in A-level effort. Great professor!

Ok, not to sure what these people are talking about. I work full time at a hospital and have a personal life and was able to do the work and take the tests and pass that class with effort and minimal at that. She has GREAT life stories that most students obviously do not appriciate. She is a GREAT instructor take her and pay attention ;)

OMG! I cannot believe these kids on here. She is a great professor and knows her stuff even if she was def and blind. She tells stories related to the class and if you participate in class, you will do just fine. Ask questions if you don't understand and us the eLearning tools and discussions (they help a ton). Much love Professor!

Don't take her! the tests will be a complete suprise don't worry about listening in class because what she tells you won't be on the test. Horrible teacher,worst at the college! If you don't listen you will wish you did, I promise! I would really like to know how many students dropped her class and how many made A's or above a C for that matter.

I very much agree with the posters here.Levins consistantly goes off on tangents, tell you none of that is on the test and then SUPRISE will be on test! READ THE BOOK and don't bother asking her any questions, she will not even anwser them!

Dr. Levins is a serious dietician! I took her evening class with other older adult students and enjoyed it. Reading the text is a MUST! Three diet studies are tedious but pretty easy. Exams are difficult (critical/eval thinking!), but she allows for bonus projects/opps for extra credit and drops the lowest test score.

OMG!!! She;s nice and very knowledgeable, however, she's very very hard to follow due to her tangents. IF you're thinking of taking this instructor...I would seriously advise otherwise.. She's brutal..and whatever you do don't you dare leave class early. Tests? and Diet studeies are easy. Read REasd Read on your own and do your best.

this is a great class however its also hard. she isnt very clear about things and gets off topic really really really bad. you have to teach yourself in this class. she is nice but is sarcastic and gets irritated if you ask too many questions. this is not an easy A. her diet studies are very easy but her test are not - read the chapters.

NICE LADY! but the 1st day of class I knew she was not a good teacher. She can not keep focused on material. There seems to be a "chatting group" between her and two other students. I know more about her and the two other students than I know about this class. I DO NOT recommend her.

My goodness does she get off track and it is hard to get her back on point!! She is a nice lady, but I'm not paying for nice, so it did get a bit frustrating. Make sure you read and re-read the chapters! Write down any questions you have during the class and email them to her on the E-learning site. She's a bit more mellow and helpful there.

The worst.Uses PowerP but gets of track so much it makes class time useless she will talk for 30 min then tell you that will never be on a test.Plays fav w/ students that sucks up but a normal student that needs help she has no time for.Reading the chapters is CRUCIAL Since she does not teach much thats on the test Questions come from the reading.

She's not bad. Has printable (powerpoint) notes, but you still need to write your own notes, as well. I learned a lot in the class. Reading the chapters is CRUCIAL! Many of the test questions come from the reading. Nice person, overall. Just be sure to try hard and she'll like you.
