Comment:

Most disorganized human being I have ever met. We had two exams in the first month that we have not yet received grades from even though the regular course scheduled classes have ended. She does not posts any form on content on blackboard to a point that students have to beg her for resources.

Highly recommend to avoid taking her class. she is highly disorganized and most of the time seems as if she is not prepared to teach at all. seems more like cis 201 than an upper-level cis class. doe's not answer questions very well (or at all sometimes) in classes. not very helpful if you go to office hours.

Prichard is one weird professor. She seems like she really knows her stuff, especially data analytics, but I get the impression from her classes that she's never used Excel! She's always asking students to help with simple tasks. Preaches "taking responsibility for learning" and has us look up what we have trouble with. Really awful experience.

Worst professor I have ever had! She has no idea what she is talking about; students know the material better then her. Gets angry when people ask her questions in class because she doesn't know the answers. From what I have heard she is the same in all classes she teaches: doesn't know the material and students have to teach themselves.

Her past ratings really don't do her justice. Her lectures can be dry at times but she definitely teaches you how to do the assignments, as well as where to reference in the book. She's always there to help students that truly want to learn the material and prove it to her. Go to her office hours if you're lost.

Professor Prichard is a great professor and you can see her passion shine through every time she lectures. The content can be difficult, but it is not her fault. She will take the time to meet with you outside of office hours if you need the extra help. Put in the work and you will see what a great professor she really is.

By no fault of hers, this class will kick your ass, even if you have programming experience. She is a decent teacher and is flexible in grading and due dates, especially in her smaller classes. I enjoyed the class, but her homework assignments easily took over an hour each. The textbook was very helpful, seeing as she wrote the book.

AT ALL COSTS AVOID TAKING HER! she literally reads verbatim off the PPT's in class. she LOVES assigning reading, you will read an entire book with her. Quiz once a week on readings online. A midterm and final. she has a point system that equals 1000 points, not % like most teachers. quizes make up close to 300 points. just don't take her, please.

Great professor! She's willing to meet with her students outside of class & help them on class assignments or their own design projects. Finds jobs & internships for everybody! You get to enter a web design "contest" as well as do a group design with actual clients. HTML Tables, forms, CSS, Javascript are covered; wish there was more on CSS.

She's a good teacher overall. Sometimes she's a bit tough, and the workload seems daunting. BUT she is willing to extend dates and help you out if you see her. She does seem to teach only early classes, they are the only ones available and required for IT majors. I recommend reading all the book as soon as it's assigned.

Where to begin? In short she sucks. She assigns projects that no one knows how to do, and yes her included. The class had nothing to do with accounting, which brings into question: Why do they call the class Accounting Information Systems.

She means well but she simply does not teach in class. Those who do well are good at teaching themselves. She assigns projects without ever going over the material. Also, in programming courses there is seldom any hands-on or practical application, which you know, is kind of the point of a programming course. She should actually try teaching.

Definitely a great professor. Seems to genuinely care that students do well. Just pay attention in class and the quizzes and projects will be much easier. As far as out of class help, she does hold review sessions if you ask her to. The class is not easy, but she is very fair and understanding when it comes to grades and deadlines for projects.
