If Im being honest here, I dropped this class after a month or so. After the second exam I figured it wasnt my studying skills, it was how I was being taught. The material is not gone over well and its all very fast pace, which is sad because I really enjoyed the labs with Dr. Lake. Overall, I knew I had to drop the class for the sake of my GPA.

Great person, difficult prof. She can be very scattered in the lectures, but read the notes and be an active learner (ask reasonable/intelligent questions) and she'll be more likely to help you and work with you. DO NOT SKIP if you expect any help.

Guns germs and steel was the class title. O how I hated this class. Avoid this teacher. Very confusing and hard. This was my hardest class and it was an intro class to college!

I didn't like her at first, but I've come to like her a lot. She's very willing to help. A little hard to understand her lectures at times, but you can always stop her and she'll answer questions. Tests are very difficult, but you will learn a lot in her classes. She is very smart.

Amazingly smart, probably the best professor I have had. She is very willing to help you outside of class, but has a low tolerance for talking during lecture and skipping class. Her lectures can be scattered sometimes, but I highly recommend her if you have to take biology.

She is insanely smart and one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is more than willing to meet with you outside of class to help. Her classes are really tough but if you just study your notes everyday for about 20-30 mins, and a little more the week of the test, you'll do fine! Be confident and never be afriad to ask questions. Don't skip.

Dr. Salzwedel is a really nice person, and has an AWESOME grading scale, but you have to work for your grades. She can get a little boring, but all of her tests are fair. She does not have a lot of patience for missing class and complaining about your grades, or talking during her lectures. Take her class if you can!
