She started teaching freshman core classes. While she is a very kind, enthusiastic person, her grading doesn't always seem clear. She doesn't grade on a point scale, but rather letter grades, and won't leave any comments on why you earned that B. Do the reading, keep your phone away, and participate. She doesn't put up with slackers.

World Civ. II.. Enjoyed class time but she is very strict grading papers. Unsympathetic to outside circumstances that affect class attendence (I missed 4 because of very much excused reasons.. and still was marked down on my final grade). Overall, I really liked her as a person and as a prof.

Dr. Field actually made a history course fun! I loved this course, but you're out of luck if you can't write. She used helpful analogies and always clarified her statements if people had questions. One of Adrian's best-coming from someone who is not normally even remotely interested in history !

I love Dr. Field. She is one of my favorite people at Adrian. She's a great professor and a wonderful advisor. She's overcome a lot of hardships, but I really admire her!

her class isn't easy and be prepared to work for the grade. the hardest part of this class was the research paper and as long as you put in the effort and go see her for help you should be ok. participation and attendence are also things to keep in mind.

Her classes are a challenge so typically the athletes and people who want to cruise through a class don't like her. I personally like a challenging class and she delivers. If you give an effort it will show in your grade.
