Janice Anderson is a very easy going teacher. You give three speeches, take an open book midterm, and an open book final. She does an outline workshop where she puts your outline on the projector in front of the whole class and gives great feedback. You do have to work for your grade on the speeches, but it's overall an easy class.

Janice Anderson is intelligent and loves what she does. She does go off topic a lot and spends the entire lecture talking about either the content or stuff that applies to it. Tests are open book with a study guide & you can bring both for the test. Easy A if you take advantage of the open book tests & mark the book up! Her advising is the best too

She is well aware of the all the courses and options available. She does have a lot of advisees though, so make sure to know what you want and the classes you're in; she can't keep track and know everything. The only minor issue I had with her that she is slow at emailing and may be late to meetings you have with her. Kind, but expect to talk a lot

Janice Anderson is the most intelligent professor at SUNY New Paltz. She really engages with her students, especially for senior seminar. She is not an easy grader but her classes are life changing. I HIGHLY recommend taking her classes before graduating.

Showed up an hour late to the final and gave everyone an A as a result. Was late to most classes. Didn't learn a thing and just wasted my time and money. Perhaps she was sane at some point in time, but that time is now well gone. I really wish that I had learned something from that class other than never to take a class with her again.

Overall nice person but I found it interesting that for a Public Speaking class, she is very monotone and not exactly the best Public Speaker. Still she's funny, the class can be interesting, and she's helpful. I'd take it again!

This class was a joke. The professor didnt show up half the time and when she did she was late. It did help me with my public speaking though. I dont know what everyone is talking about saying that it is a tough class. Maybe she is stricter in other classes but public speaking is a verryy easy A

Maybe she knows what she's talking about in other classes, but when it comes to intercultural interaction, she does not. Thank goodness it only lasted 7 weeks, but even 1 week would've been a waste of time. I think I got dumber from sitting in her class.

anderson is a cool teacher but a tough grader. she will not bend anything for you, you have to earn that A if you want it. she deducts points from your speeches for EVERYTHING. you do a total of 3 speeches in the class and have a midterm and final(which r pretty EZ). i recommend her, just work for your grade.
