Would not recommend! Nice person outside the classroom. Inside the classroom she will call you out if you look confused, which you will be 99.9% of the time. Her notes don't make sense because she does a lot of stuff "in her head" and doesn't write it down. You will take tons of quizzes that are pretty easy, but her test are extremely difficult.

Dr. Kennedy is a great math teacher, in my opinion. She explains concepts in a way where you actually understand what is happening (math in high school felt like a lot of memorizing to me). However, her tests are quite different from the homework she assigns, so it can be difficult to do well.

Dr Kennedy is a wonderful person outside of class! But if you want to pass precal, do NOT take her. It is very hard to keep up with her notes in class, therefore it's difficult/near impossible to study well. If anything, study in groups and hope for the best. Her class was the hardest class I took freshman year, I don't recommend.

After looking at the positive reviews for Dr. Kennedy, I was astonished to find out for myself just how bad of a teacher she is. If you don't remember every math concept from High School, you're out of luck! During class she teaches nothing and gives notes that you won't even use for the homework. Tests are insanely hard with never seen problems.

I would say that my math teachers in high school were much better than she is. Kennedy teaches things backwards to me and makes simple concepts much harder than they should be. And believe me, I took AP calculus BC in high school. I do not recommend.

Dr. Kennedy is a very nice lady. however, she is HORRIBLE at teaching Calculus (especially calc 2). She doesnt explain things properly, never gives us our grade averages, and never gives us quiz/test or exam reviews. We constantly have to correct her and she get mad at us if we dont understand something. avoid at all costs taking her

If you show up to class, pay attention, and do the homework you should be fine! This professor is very understanding and lenient! We had three assignments graded for accuracy. These were pretty much study guides for the three tests. Then we also had homework that was a participation grade. You will learn a lot.

If you like hands on or any explanation about what you're doing in class, I don't suggest her. All she does are examples and doesn't take the time to explain how to do the problem and yet expects you to know how to do it. I didn't like her and I never did well on any tests or quizzes. Don't take her.

If you are looking to retake Pre-Calc this is your class. Super easy, just take notes and study and you will do fine. She is a bit confusing at times, but overall the easiness of the class makes up for it. She gives quizzes once a week and gives three exams

I took her because everyone who had her for a lower level math said that she was great and really easy! But she is ridiculous in upper level. She doesn't explain it in a mathematical way and it is soooo boring. Please. Don't take her for Calc 3

I took Dr. Kennedy's class during Jan term. It was very fast paced but not too hard. She writes everything on the board so take good notes and study them. The tests aren't very hard.

for Math150, precal: expect a quiz about once a week. they are all really easy. multiple choice, true/false, short answer. you can choose if you want your quizzes to count in the end or not. (or you can just use your test grade--so they are helpful)
