Zaima is a horrible accounting and finance chair. She is unfriendly and obviously does not care about the students at SJSU. She belittles students by making them feel dumb and useless. We should use a new 172A book because it is unclear and it is not a reliable source of learning investment analysis! Beware of her before you go to the A&F dept!

My biggest disapointment is her textbook, which she wrote it herself along w/someone else. It's full of mistakes, the exercises are useless, and it's hard to follow the examples on the text! She is somewhat rude, not available but I guess it was b/she was also one of the chairmber of the dept.

Not as good of a teacher as I expected but she will do. Makes mistakes on the exams but compensates for it by giving points! Gives good lectures and explains things somewhat well. Don't be scared by what other people say! Has an investment game that is absolutely fun (the points help you out)! A little rude but its understandable. Still an ok teach

she only really teaches calculations and really basic concepts, but she goes through the concepts so fast. and she doesn't review for the exams. she just says know these chapters, and a huge batch of concepts come from the book and you don't expect it because she NEVER mentioned it in class. wish there was another teacher for this class, but nope

She is the rudest and least understanding professor ever. She forbids you to leave in the middle of class to go to the restroom and will make sure that you will never want to leave again during her class. Her lecture is fast and unclear. With her attitude, she is unapproachable for help. Consider changing major after taking her class.

The best Finance prof at SJSU. Zaima knows her stuff very well and is very helpful. You'll learn the most important things in her class. 3midterms and a Final with 2quizzes. Midterms can be hard but do the homework and you'll be fine, Final is brutal but she curves the grade so you can get through.The stock game is fun too & makes you learn.

3 midterms, 1 final. the 2nd midterm is hard, the final will kill you. she's always making mistakes and is confusing, but she's a nice person that's willing to help. you need to practice in this class, especially for the 2nd midterm and the cumulative final

zaima knows her stuff, is nice and helpful. that said she makes all kinds of typos (in her book, during lecture, in the final) which is really annoying. the class overall is not hard, but not easy. this class is more aimed at helping you pick mutual funds for your 401k than at preparing you to get a real job in the finance world.

Prof. Zaima is one of the best finance teachers I've ever had. Her lecture is a little bit fast, but you'll learn alot from her. I found her very knowledgeable in the finance field. If you want to learn more about investment, take her class!!!Great Professor:)

This is a tough class and the final was brutal... but Zaima is one of the best finance prof, I highly recommend her over any other professors. you will learn a lot from her! You should do fine, if you read the text, take notes, and study your ass off

Everything in the class was fair expect for the final. IT Was brutal. 70 questions that test you on stuff from day 1. Not as easy as I thought it would be. Shes a better teacher than Vourokoskiti whatever.

How could c be a great professor while most the students failed on her first exam? I dropped out of class since she went way 2 fast in her class, and expected students to know lots 'bout finance and her book, which is the most boring book eva 2 read. Definitely not recommended 2 any finance major!!!!! DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS !!!!!!!

Oh mah god, I'm taking her class right now and it's so damn hard. The first exam, half of da class was still struggling even though there was only 10 mins left. She didn't cover chapt 1-6 and just went ahead testing on those. Calculations are difficult also. Don't plan 2 take her !!!!
