The final exam for this class was the hardest exam I had ever written in my life. I cried at the end thinking that I just failed the course. Thank God I passed and now I'm in York! Jacqueline is a tough (and scary) prof. She expects you write in a PhD level when it comes to writing an essay. Very picky on APA

would not recommend. Avoid at all costs. Im going into my final with a 70+% and am TERRIFIED of failing. Final is 40%. Does not give you answers to questions, just annoyingly dances around them. Go to class, agree with everything she says and EMAIL HER for clarification on assignments (the earlier the better) and she will 3 you.

She is passive aggressive and not very approachable. On our first ethics class she actually said "If you don't understand my content, you might as well be a PSW", ouch. However, I won't deny that she is very intelligent and while she is a tough marker, she is fair in her marks and I did learn a lot in her class as her lectures/ppts were in depth.

She is very unapproachable, and seems as if she does not look out for the student's best interest. I found her marking extremely tough. I am normally an A student, but this is the only class I have struggled with and almost did not pass. During the final exam I got a very severe nose bleed and was not allowed to leave my seat.

Both powerpoints + lectures are unhelpful. Not approachable whatsoever - quite rude. A lot of weekly reading material. The upside is there are almost no testsquizzes, which however means other assignments are heavily weighted and she is an extremely hard marker and very pickyspecific on APA format. She will dock marks off for every single mistake

Jacqueline is a very nice woman, she's extremely understanding, but very particular. She likes things done a certain way so do not think you can get by in her class by doing the bare minimum (marks essays hard). She always tried to make her classes as interactive as possible which wasn't always the best thing at times, but she tried really hard.
