You MUST ask questions. He will go through the proofs and do some (nontrivial) examples but has some difficulty communicating to the class. He is a really smart guy, but works in a field that is intuitive, not descriptive so this is understandable. Stay on your toes for his class.

Fulman really tries to teach, really loves the subject, but it doesn't quite work somehow. Hard to follow in class. I wish he had talked more about relationship between the theory and how it could be used to solve problems. Definitely helpful outside of class.

Fulman just regurgitated the book on the board. He was very boring to listen to, but he was very generous on the the final grades. He was also pretty helpful during his office hours... I'm just glad there was a recitation.
