Just plain and simple this guy is WAY too old to be teaching. If you freshman get stuck with him it is mandatory that you get a tutor from the start. He doesn't make his own tests so he can't tell you whats on them and does not give curves. He needs to stop teaching and ruining my grades.

By far the WORST professor I've ever had! I think he's getting way too old to teach. He refuses to do extra problems on the board. He just copies examples from the book. It's completely pointless to go to class. The review packets are nothing like the tests. He's super boring and mumbles. You can barely make out what he's saying. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

He is quite old now and very southern; so you can barely understand anything he says. He seems like a very nice guy, but all he does is copy example problems from the text on the board and goes right to the next one. There's no explanation at all. Smart guy not too great of a teacher. DON'T TAKE IT, get out while you can.

THIS PROFESSOR DOES TEACH MONOTONE, BUT HE'S A NICE GUY..I MADE ALL F'S ON TEST,THERE WAS ONE TAKE HOME TEST AND OF COURSE I PASSED THAT....AND I HAPPEN TO GET A C IN THE CLASS...JUST SHOW UP FOR CLASS, AND SIT ON THE FRONT ROW..AT LEAST THATS WHAT I DID!!!

Mr Parker is a great professor. He does have the "old school theory" going for him. He is willing to work with you and understands how a students life can be busy with work,other classes, and family, and is willing to work with you as long as you show effort and have a good attitude. He is definitly one of the that CCU has and should not let leave!

Hes kinda monotone but the class is easy. he gives hw but you dont have to do them,although the tests are pretty much made up of those exact problems. easy to understand the hardest part is paying attention. highly recomended if you dont mind a slightly boring class. very easy and enjoyable

I would NOT take this class! He is very quiet and it makes you want to fall asleep. I had this class on MWF for 50 minutes and I watched the clock the whole time, I was bored out of my mind and I did not do good on his test! I would NOT recommend taking him!

Parker is one of the easiest Calc teachers. He is real layed back, but knows the material! Repeats the formulas throughout the class, easy to comprehend. I got an A+ in his class and didnt do any of the hw, just payed attention in class. Tests are just like problems in class. Strongly recommend taking him!
