Incredibly boring lectures, notes not posted online. The book is the only helpful part of this class but is extremely expensive. He is zero help when it comes to reviews, refuses to give any guidance on what to study. If you have to take this class, find another teacher. Wouldn't take again.

He is really nice and cares a lot about his students but his teaching is boring and straight from the slides. He doesn't post anything online, but everything is straight from the book, so buy the book even though it cost 250 bucks used... The extra credit saved my life, but his test are hard. he is a good person but I would not suggest his class.

Purchase the book, attend every lecture, take pics of the slides, and DO EVERY EXTRA CREDIT opportunity he gives. At the beg/middle, I thought that I was doing so horrible I would have to retake the class. At the end, I ended up with an A. Try your hardest, even though the material is ridiculously hard. He is a nice guy, and you can get an A!

Dr. Coleman is a very intelligent professor but his class is super hard and he goes very fast through the 80-something slide power-points. He is a nice guy, but he made the class harder than it needed to be. There are 3 fifty question "quizzes" and a final exam, that is your grade. The material is very boring which didn't help the situation.

This is actually the most boring class I have ever been in. Reads right off of powerpoint. So monotone. So boring. Material makes no sense and doesn't match test. The textbook is your best bet to do well. Coleman is a nice guy but he really shouldn't be a teacher. not engaging whatsoever.

Absolutely most boring class I have ever taken. He's a nice guy but I don't think I learned anything in the class. Might have been better if I were actually interested in the subject, but still, I would have rather have taken Physics just for the interest level. Oh and his tests are hard even if you pay attention and take notes.

I thought he was an awesome professor. His lectures were a little boring at some points, but I actually learned a lot and enjoyed the material. He's a really nice guy, and if you take good notes and show up all the time it's really not that bad.

His tests are hard. Attendance is semi random. Lectures arent too bad to listen too but when it comes to the test you have got to wonder where he got his questions. Not the lecture. If you want an easy A dont take him, i study and attend class and i have a 81 as of right now. Nice guy, but not that great of a teacher.

I am very interested in Psychology, it was my first major, and this class made me hate it. He is an unorganized lecturer and unclear and the tests were super hard. I studied a lot and made C's and D's. I had to attend every SI session to have any hope in passing and I have never had to attend an SI session for any class before. Extra credit saved m

Dr. Coleman is a funny guy though his lectures are kinda boring...seriously, u don't even need to go to class, u can study on ur own... but sometimes he takes attendance so you have to go to sign urself in. tests are all multiple choice. if ur a good note taker, u'll be fine

His lectures tended to be a little unclear and he usually read straight from the book. He gave multiple choice tests which generally followed his notes, but could be a little tricky. There's a lot of extra credit. Attendance was mandatory but he didn't take role every time and as long as you have a friend who can sign your name, you're good.

Relatively boring class, and unclear lectures, but its not too bad. He's a little on the odd side but he's guaranteed to make you laugh at how cheesy he is. Tests are pretty hard but he gives tons of extra credit so as long as you go to class you should be ok.

If you want a class that has a great lecturer, or even a good one, don't take this class. The man is utterly boring in every way. Sign-in sheets go around about 70% of the time, so you need to show up. Other than that, when test time comes, attend the SI sessions, Hell, attend them all the time, and you'll do alright.

Interesting material but he is very boring and cheesy. Really nice guy a little odd though. I would highly recommend you read the text as well as attend every class. I actually had to do a good amount of studying to pull off a B. Lots of extra credit though. Would recommend if you are willing to STUDY!

Go to class, it is boring and you will hate being there, but if you go you will save yourself alot of time because his tests come from lecture, which is from the book. so if you go, you dont have to read. also, he gives a breakdown of the tests and tells you what to study. TONS of extra credit, and he drops the lowest test.

He was not the best lecturer, and he basically summed up the book in lecture, but I learned a lot in this class. Having never taken a psychology class even in high school, I passed exams. He gives extra credit too. Overall, I think he is a good professor and is very fair and nice.
