My favorite professor in a school full of wonderful teachers. His class convinced me to major in philosophy. His assignments are almost always reasonable, but be warned; he will challenge you to do some rigorous thinking. This is not a high school philosophy class.

Professor Rose is always engaging and enthusiastic, there's no denying that. However, he often presents his own unorthodox interpretations of the text as fact, which is confusing when you take other courses or read other books. That said, he's a very funny man and also very nice. His classes aren't easy, but he will help you succeed if you ask him.

John is a funny, personable, and engaging teacher. He has a strong personality and he really owns the subject matter he teaches. His lecturing can be a little enigmatic at times because he always appears one step ahead of the conversation (which may explain some of the comments about him being full of himself). Take his classes if given the chance.

John is an absoloutly amazing professor, both as a person and as a teacher. He is the type of teacher who makes you want to study on your own all night, and raises a love of the subject matter in such a way that even non philosophy majors can enjoy.
