I absolutely love Braem. Such a sweet and funny man. He hates the textbook, and loves to swear about it. However, you probably want to study your own to do well in the class, because he doesn't make you do much during class. But it is pretty easy, because he gives a study sheet which is basically the exam the class beforehand.

Makes learning a foreign language fun, teaches things students want to know. Does not follow the textbook. He gives a pre-test for all of his quizes even the final and mid-term and the actual quizes are 99% of the time exactly the same as the pre-test. I would recommend him to anyone who is not great at learning a foreign language.

Makes learning French fun and exciting. Has a good sense of humor and is one of the most helpful professors that I've ever met. If you have a question about something, he's always glad to answer it. Sometimes he teaches us some words that we probably shouldn't be learning, but again, he strives to make French fun. I'm sorry to hear about his wife.

He is hilarious seriously. Isn't afraid to jab at students and uses "colorful language"--this I find funny. I registered for too high a level course, so it was hard to keep up but he is highly recommended to anyone. Not much work in the class but quizzes require studying!!
