She is most definitely a great person. As a professor she is too busy with her obligations to the university to actually be able to get a hold of easily to talk to her about class. Be prepared to read alot and learn her teaching style as in how she tests. Class was confusing she expects you to check d2l even then its unorganized

Jeanna is an amazing profe! She knows how to help YOU! She doesn't try to make you feel stupid, but she doesn't hold your hand. Amazing person and profe. I would take her again if I were in school again.

She is a great teacher! She is very helpful and wants you to learn. She works slowly enough that you can keep up, but doesn't baby you. Her exams are somewhat difficult, but as long as you study the review she gives you it's not too bad. I would definitely recommend taking her if possible!

She's a very happy person, and really nice. She does assign A LOT of work, but she should if she expects anyone to really learn. If you are taking an overload of classes, do not take her or this class for that matter. If you are gonna really work at it, she's great and it's fun.

This professor is really great! She comes into class with a smile everyday and you can tell she LOVES being there! She involves everyone in activites everyday, which really helps you learn the language! There is a lot of work..but all of it helps so much on her tests, which are easy if you study. In conclusion take this professor.. shes awesome!

Very, very interesting. Lot's of reading, but all very good. She brought one of the authors from Latin America to class. That was incredible. She puts 100% into the class. Awesome teacher.

This course has changed my view on Latin America and the impact US foreign policy has on so many people. Dr. Paul-Urena is an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who cares about what her students take away from a course. I love the multimedia approach that brought in so many disciplines. I highly recommend this course.

Maybe native Spanish speakers think this class was easy! There were about ten in my class. I am not a native speaker of Spanish and I struggled. -- But she is great. She REALLY cares about what students get out of her class. I made a C, but I really am proud of my C!

Great teacher de espanol... I really like her a lot. She is always willing to help you out. It's also pretty col that she sings and plays guitar during class. Check out a concert sometime. Very talented.
