Easily my favorite professor. I took his class the first semester of my freshman year with no regrets. Take advantage of his office hours, he is always willing to help. He does put your essays in front of the class to let everyone see and it is embarrassing, but you will get over it.

Mr. Harris is an extremely tough grader. When you ask questions in class or your essay gets reviewed in class he will make you feel dumb and embarrassed if you have mistakes. He doesn't seem to really care what type of grades your making. If you were an A student in English in high school expect to make C's on his essays.

He was easily my favorite teacher this semester. He makes it really easy to get a good grade on the essays. Before every class period, the class sends in portions of their essays and he tells you exactly what you need to change. As long as you listen and apply what he says in class, you should pass.

Writing is easily my strongest subject, but that was tested in this class. I was a student that made A's and high B's in four years of AP and Pre-Ap English, but this class easily put it that to shame. It's not that the subject is hard, but his grading is absolutely ridiculous. He's a pretty nice, funny guy, but a very, VERY, hard grader.

He is a horrible teacher. He is very rude and if you go to his office hours for help it will be a waste of time because he would tell you information that you already know. Then he will read your essay and say it is good but then he will give you an F on your essay when he grade it. He could care less about your life.

I took Dr. Harris for English 273 (Tech Writing). It was one of the EASIEST classes to get an A in. He was helpful and I enjoyed his class alot. I strongly recommend to take the class during a Maymester, because there are several long assignments that would get in the way during a regular semester. TAKE HIM FOR ENG 273 IN THE MAY MESTER!

Dont ever take this teacher unless he is your very last choice! He assigns long projects and his grading is harsh. I used to get all A's in English classes. In this class I got low grades on everything...and he plays favorites. Also if you ask for help he does look at you like your stupid! I think he's a jackass!

I did not like him. He does not help you very much. He looks at you like you are stupid if you ask him a question. He gives his classes assignments on top of assignments and they are long assignments, most of them. I would advise you to take a different teacher because he is not very good.

Mr. Harris is a good teacher. He tells us to read the text book, then he will assign a paper for us to write. He tells us to email the 1st body paragraph the night before the class and we go over the paragraphs in class. He tells how to improve the paragraph. IF you go to his office he helps you alot, and most likely will get a B

For starters, Harris will teach you how to write and avoid errors. If you want to learn how to write composition, then take Harris. Not a bad teacher, but he is the most inconsistent grader I have ever seen. I've had 2 years of AP English and the sorority girl who comes in hung over every so often made about a letter grade higher than me.

Well I had an A in this class until one assignment. The grading is really messed up and I wound up with an 89.4..and received a B..Jerk. He's not clear about what exactly he is looking for, not a bad class..Just alot of work!
