He will give you assignments, but never bother to learn your name or make a connection with you. Not only that, you will have to teach yourself, using the videos that come with the assignments, might as well take an online class. If you struggle with math, he is not the one for you.

Excellent! Answered all my Star Wars questions with math. I Had no idea about Endors gravity until he explained it to me. Would take again! Also good teacher.

I like when he says "A-ha" after he figures out a tough question. Alongside this, when he's thinking super hard, he'll put a pen on his chin. Always wears the same cargo shorts too which is dope. 10/10 would recommend.

Jeff Eldridge is probably one of the smartest men I've ever met, and it translates to equally impressive lectures. That being said, Calculus is Calculus and if you put anything less than 10 hours a week into studying and struggle to attend all classes, don't expect to pass.

Took him for 151 and 152. Good class, but he would go through some hard topic that would never be in the test, so you better know by yourself what topics to focus on (he will not tell you). The concept question in his exams are 90% similar to the practice exam. Master the topics covered in the practice question and you can definitely get 75+%

An awesome teacher. Powerful command of Math. Willing to help. Gives good feedback. Dedicated. Fair grader. Fast in lecturing, so you better read the section before class. Daily class activities (graded). Almost daily online homework (graded). Tough exams (generally). I'd recommend him if you wanna be an Engineer!

I really liked this class because for math, there was hardly any homework. Taking any calculus class, it's best to read the section before class but especially with Jeff because he talks SO FAST. I was disappointed to find out there was no extra credit opportunities because I read on here that there was.

While he is very good at math, I could not keep up with his teaching. He goes so fast that you hardly have any time to process what you just learned. Also during class activities he is pretty much no help and just tells you to look at the board. I also found that he for sure puts the hardest material on the tests. Some of the derivatives are crazy.

I took his Math 144, 271 and 254. He is a very good teacher, and you will be easy to get grades as long as you follow him in his class and do your own work. Unfortunately, he won't be teaching Math 272 in this year, so I have to take someone else's class:(

I usually hate math classes, but this class was one of my favorite math classes I've taken ever. The material was very easy to grasp, there was no textbook required for my class, as Eldridge writes up his own material for each chapter with examples. i paid attention in class, never did homework, had a study session before each test, and did well.

Great instructor! The material is not difficult if you read and actually do the homework. Very understanding and explains the material in a manner that students can identify with. He will work with you as long as you put the effort in. Attend class and participate in the forums weekly. Note taking is key in this class and can be used on exams.

A Poem About MATH153: The bane of my existence At the end, it's like "Good riddance!" Or at least it used to be. When I go to Jeff Eldridge's class, And look at all those graphs, I think, "Thank god he's teaching me." Eldridge is a great professor. If you do the reading and pay attention in class you should be fine.

I took him for calculas 1,2,3 and he's pretty good. His grading is really fair and the test are basically all the class activities. Study the activities, and you will be fine. Plenty of chances to raise your grades. His lectures can get a bit boring when he teaches from the textbook, but explainations of material is understandable and good.
