Very Awkward and Geeky. Thinks we know nothing, and I feel asleep every class. Only had one class a week for 45min and only graded things were a paper on "how life works" and a really easy exam.

Avoid at all costs. Kushner not only is very difficult to understand, his tests dont relate to lecture material, pathophys dominates, and he requires that you memorize lots of medical jargon. Material is outdated and doesnt relate to curriculum. Horrible communicator.

He's a pretty good teacher. He gets comments on how you feel about the class before it's over so the changes he makes to the course affect you, not just the people after you. His lectures can be somewhat boring though. He has interesting websites that can be used when you teach in the future. This class is definitely for future teachers.

I really enjoyed Dr. Kushner's class. He really wants us to succeed. All he asks is that you participate. If you go to class and do all of his assignments you will get an A. He is also very willing to help if you ever need it!
